This time, I’d like to introduce “TWO STAR,” a cafe in Kannonzaki, Yokosuka.
Do you think, “A riders’ cafe? It must be hard to walk into unless you ride a motorbike…”? In fact, it’s a shop full of fun and excitement, even for people who don’t ride motorbikes.
One thing to note: the shop is closed fairly often these days. Before you head out, be sure to check its official Instagram for opening days.

American-Sized Looks and Flavor! The Impressive Milkshakes

When it comes to TWO STAR, the milkshakes come first. According to a Tabelog review, the chocolate milkshake stands about 20 cm tall overall. One look and you’ll think, “Wow, it’s huge!”
According to the reviews, it contains crushed ice, so the aftertaste is refreshing, and even the sweet chocolate is easy to drink. The menu also includes flavors such as strawberry milk and mango yogurt (Source: Tabelog reviews).

“It looks so photogenic, doesn’t it? I hear they also do takeout, so I thought it would be nice to enjoy one slowly by the sea.”

Hot Dogs and Bagels That Are Hearty Too
It’s not just about the milkshakes. The reviews mention items such as the cheese dog, the bacon and egg bagel, and the harissa chicken sandwich. Some reviewers praise the crispiness of the bread and bagels.

There is also toast, with options like honey and cinnamon that you can choose like a snack. The harissa (a spicy sauce) is reportedly handmade, too. If you don’t do well with spicy food, it’s reassuring to ask when you order.
Fun Even If You’re Not a Motorbike Fan: An Interior Like a Treasure Hunt
The interior is packed with vintage motorbike parts, original T-shirts, stickers, and motorbike magazines. It’s an antique-style space, and I hear you can see Tokyo Bay from the windows.

The tables have helmet holders, a thoughtful touch for riders (Source: an article about the shop by Honda GO Bike Rental). Shop owners who want ideas for building their own shop or for in-store displays may find some hints here, too.
Going to Meet the Owner’s Personality
Reviews describe the owner, a woman, as friendly and cheerful, with a frank, easygoing way of serving customers. Many regulars come here, and the fact that customers feel close to one another seems to be part of the shop’s charm, too.

“She runs the shop all by herself, so when it’s busy, I’d like to go with a relaxed, patient frame of mind.”

Notes for Visiting with a Baby or Kids
Whether strollers are allowed, whether you can come with a baby, and whether it works for a moms’ get-together are all unconfirmed.
What we do know is that it’s a small shop with relatively few seats. The reviews mention 2 counter seats, three 2-person tables, and one 4-person table. A large moms’ get-together looks difficult. Before you go, we recommend asking the shop by phone or by Instagram DM.
Information for Dog Owners
Whether dogs are allowed inside, and whether there is terrace seating, are unconfirmed. One of the articles I referred to mentions “terrace seating,” but whether dogs are allowed is unclear. If you’re coming with your dog, please check in advance.

TWO STAR is a beloved cafe in Kannonzaki that brings together impressive milkshakes, hearty food, an interior like a treasure hunt, and the personality of its owner. Even if you don’t ride a motorbike, it’s a perfect destination for a drive by the sea.
