Finally Visiting “Sol Tacos 2u”: A Taco Shop That Could Save You When Lunch Is Hard to Find
I had wanted to visit the taco shop “Sol Tacos 2u” in Zushi for a long time, and I finally made it.
The shop is about a 4-minute walk from the north exit of Keikyu Zushi-Hayama Station, or about a 7-minute walk from the east exit of JR Zushi Station. (Source: Tabelog)

I went on a weekday, a little outside the usual lunch hours, but the counter was already full. Even so, the staff made a seat for me, and I was able to get in.

Charm #1: Three Kinds of Tacos That Really Fill You Up
The lunch menu is the “Tacos Omakase Plate.” It’s 1,600 yen for 4 kinds or 1,200 yen for 3 kinds, and the tacos change daily. If you don’t like cilantro, just tell them when you order and they’ll leave it out. (Source: the lunch menu inside the shop)
I had the 3-kind plate (1,200 yen).

The tacos were so delicious, and I thought they were truly authentic. I left completely full.
If you order a lunch plate, drinks come at a set price. Soft drinks are +300 yen and alcoholic drinks are +600 yen, and you can have as many as you like at that price. (Source: the lunch menu inside the shop)

I had been wanting to visit this shop for so long, so with the first bite of taco I thought, “I’m so glad I came!”
*Prices are from the time of my visit. Please check the shop’s Instagram or Tabelog for the latest information.
Charm #2: Gentle Service and a Comfortable Atmosphere
The shop was run by two people. Both were very gentle and welcoming, and I felt right at home.

While waiting, I watched the cars passing outside the second-floor window and enjoyed the bright atmosphere inside. Some customers were chatting with the staff, and the whole place had a relaxed feel.
The owner is Takayuki Uchida. After working in the fashion industry for about 10 years, he worked for about two and a half years at a bistro in Kamakura called “23,” where he learned about tacos. (Source: SUBU, “SoLTacos2u x SUBU,” dated April 30, 2025, updated July 26, 2025)
Charm #3: Last Order at 3 PM According to the In-Shop Menu. Come Here When Lunch Is Hard to Find
The lunch menu inside the shop says “11:30-15:00 L.O.” (last order). It’s a reliable place even on days when you’re a little past regular lunch hours. I’ll remember it as the spot to go when I can’t find lunch!
That said, the hours differ depending on the source. Tabelog lists lunch as 11:30 to 14:30, while Instagram says “11:30-15:30 (last order 14:30).” Before you go, we recommend checking the shop’s Instagram for the latest information. (Source: Tabelog, Sol Tacos 2u Instagram)
Before You Go: Be Careful with Bicycles and Motorbikes
The shop faces a main road, and you cannot park bicycles or motorbikes in front of the shop. I was told that parking in the wrong place can even lead to complaints inside the building. There are bicycle parking spots a little way away, so please park there before heading to the shop. (Source: information from the shop staff)
There is also no parking lot. (Source: Tabelog)
For Those Visiting with a Baby or Kids, or with a Dog
Whether strollers are allowed, whether you can come with children, and whether dogs can come inside are all unconfirmed. The counter was full when I visited, so we recommend checking with the shop before you go.
