Steak Steak Take is located on a hilltop in Shonan Kokusai Mura, surrounded by lush greenery. From the terrace seating, you can enjoy a beautiful view while dining, making it a refreshing and open atmosphere!
When I visited, the autumn leaves were still visible, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Highlight 1: “Yukifuri Wagyu Obanazawa” Sirloin Steak
I ordered:
Yukifuri Wagyu Obanazawa Sirloin Steak Lunch (4950 yen/100g)
This wagyu beef is raised in Yamagata Prefecture, where extreme temperature differences create rich marbling. The moment I took a bite, the sweet fat melted in my mouth – tender and juicy beyond words.
The lunch course included:
- Seasonal vegetable salad
- Charcoal-grilled sirloin steak
- Rice or bread
- Drink (coffee, tea, or orange juice)
This was the softest steak I’ve had in a long time! Truly a special experience.
Highlight 2: Kuroge Wagyu Steak Lunch
The other recommendation is:

This steak is rich in flavor and grilled over charcoal. It’s both smoky and juicy, providing an exceptional taste.
The course includes an appetizer, allowing you to enjoy a variety of carefully prepared dishes alongside the steak.
Highlight 3: Dog-Friendly Terrace Seating
One of the standout features of Steak Steak Take is its spacious terrace seating, where dogs are welcome.
For those with pets, finding restaurants that allow dogs can be challenging in the Hayama area. This spot is a rare gem, and there’s even a dog park café nearby, making it an ideal outing for you and your furry friend.
Luxurious Interior for a Special Experience
As you step inside, the restaurant welcomes you with its high ceilings and open atmosphere. A large wood-burning stove sits at the center, with ceiling fans spinning above – creating a sleek yet cozy ambiance.
Though the stove wasn’t lit during my visit, I can imagine how charming the space must feel when it’s burning in winter, adding to the warm and inviting experience.
The staff are elegantly dressed, contributing to the upscale atmosphere. However, there’s no strict dress code – even jeans are perfectly fine, allowing you to enjoy a luxurious yet relaxed meal.
Baby-Friendly and Kid-Friendly Notes
The spacious interior allows for easy stroller access, and the wide table spacing ensures a comfortable dining experience for families with children.
While the setting is a bit formal, if your baby starts crying, the terrace area offers a convenient retreat until they settle down.
