Hinata Cafe uses natural ice from Mt. Yatsugatake in Yamanashi. This ice is slowly frozen using only natural cold, resulting in extremely pure and soft ice.
This time, I tried the “Choco Mint” (¥1,100) and added natural ice (+¥250). The texture was so light and smooth, it felt like a breeze with every spoonful.
I was amazed—shaved ice can be this gentle and delicious!
It doesn’t give you brain freeze, and the cooling sensation lasts throughout your treat!
Highlight ②: Enjoy the Terrace with a View of the Morito River
There’s a lovely terrace in front of the cafe that overlooks the Morito River. Even in summer, it’s surprisingly comfortable thanks to the shade and breeze.
I enjoyed my treat on the terrace and felt like I was on a mini retreat.
If you want to avoid the busy indoor seating, the terrace is perfect. Just note that pets are not allowed even outside.
